Objective:
If I have the privilege of being on the Political Team my goal would be to research and find out how this is happening to Escondido Creek and why it is happening. I want to find the answers to the questions such as: what has caused it? how did it happen? who contributed? I want to find out what will help the Escondido creek and how we can contribute to helping it.
My objective for the Measurement Team would be to collect detailed data about the creek and show the present state that it is in at the moment. It's so important to collect this data because no else has bothered to collect it.

Project and Work Experience:
A project that I did in the past that relates to the objection of the Measurement Team was the Balancing of a Scale project that I did last year. In the project we had to sketch out a full-proof scale design and then we had to execute our idea of our scale by building it. In my case I had to use a jigsaw and saw through wood. I definitely learned from this project about how to brainstorm ideas and come up with designs, and how to execute your ideas and plans. This project also involved measuring out different masses and making sure they were precise and balanced each other.
Different project experiences that I have had that have potentially prepared for possibly being on the Political Team are Socratic Seminars, some speeches, and a Model UN project. In different Socratic Seminars we had to prepare different writing pieces presenting our case for whether we were for or against different topics. In those projects we had to do a lot of research and had to search for the reasons for why something was happening, how it was happening, and who was behind it.

Volunteer Experiences
Beautiful Saviour Lutheran School
- I was given the opportunity to help out in a middle school classroom and shadow a teacher for my career day last year.
- From the experience I learned how to connect with someone you're teaching and learned how to explain something and simplify it to make it more understandable.
Skills
- Bilingual (Language: Swedish)
- Researching and finding background information.
- Collecting detailed data
- Ability to run more than a mile without passing out.
- I can write a convincing paper, but presenting takes lots of practice.
Characteristics
I am a perfectionist and I have a lot of precision when it comes to creating something using measurement or perfecting a design. I take my time do things the right way, but when it comes down to the wire I'll get as much down as possible in the limited time as possible. I'll do my very best to perfect a project that I'm working on, but I will also know when to give up if it isn't coming together. I've always had a curiosity when it comes to, figuring out the cause of different effected sources and asking the questions: who was behind it? How did it happen? What contributed to the result? It's just fun for me to be like a detective almost and investigate an effected source or product.
